Those with existing health conditions may require additional medical evaluations and clearances. Surgery will be scheduled once all necessary medical clearances and requirements are met, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bariatric Institute surgeon.

  • Meet the eligibility criteria established by The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery ("ASMBS"). Candidates for gastric bypass or gastric sleeve surgery must have a BMI equal to or greater than 35, or a BMI between 30-34.99, accompanied by at least one obesity-related health condition.
